CHAPTER 01

"NIMPH" is the first collection from the Barcelona-based fashion brand NIMPH, founded by Patty Mañá. The collection focuses on upcycled and repurposed clothing, celebrating imperfection and diversity. It utilizes second-hand and leftover fabrics to create unique, one-of-a-kind pieces. The brand's aesthetic, influenced by the concept of "Dirty Design," aims to challenge traditional fashion norms and promote inclusivity. 

The values under which the brand is based are not only present in its manifesto or in its essence, but are materialized in the designs of its first collection. The pieces in this collection have been created from others, giving rise to “one of kind” garments. The materials with which they have been made have been selected in markets, thrift stores and even in the closets of their friends, to be mixed and matched later through processes of deconstruction and reconstruction. In this way they give a second life to different materials and garments and endow their new creations with the beauty and history that precedes them.
